Rafael Nadal shares a massive update on Instagram!

Rafael Nadal continues to train hard for his come back on the court. The Spanish tennis player will reveal in the next few days (or in the next few hours, so follow us on Tennis World USA!) where and when he will return to the court, in 2024. The Spaniard has been absent from the circuit since the match he lost against Meckenzie McDonald in the first round of the 2023 edition of the Australian Open. That was last official appearance of the Majorcan champion, before the surgery to resolve the injury to the left iliopsoas which kept him away from the courts all year. The Australian Open CEO Craig Tiley has expressed hope to see Nadal at the Australian Open 2024, but the Spaniard has not yet revealed the tournament in which he will return to tennis. Rafa even fell to 664th position in the ATP ranking this year. Just in these hours, Nadal shared a video on his Instagram account, in which he shows that he has returned to training on indoor hard-courts, writing in the post: "Let's start another week... Let's continue... Let's go!" His return can only be closer!

As we said at the beginning - and I reapet! - follow Tennis World USA to find out when the Spanish champion will reveal the date of his come back, but only a few days ago, on the occasion of a promotional event of the Clínica Tenis Teknon, Rafa confirmed that he feels much better and that his return is getting ever closer. The 22-time slam champion never wanted to say too much about recovery times and his possible return to the court, but during the event he explained: "Until now I didn't know if I would ever play tennis again and now I think I will . What has changed from a few weeks ago to now is that I now know that I will play tennis again. I didn't know it before, but now, honestly, I know I will because evolution is good. Giant strides have been made lately. I'm not ready to say where yet. When I know, I'll be the first to say it. I don't know what level I will be able to return to, but I have never lost my enthusiasm. I haven't played for a year and for me personal success, which is more powerful than general success, is maintaining the illusion of playing again. I know it will be difficult to find a high level of tennis again, but if I didn't have the illusion of being competitive again, I wouldn't have done the work I've done in recent months and the effort it takes after a very long career. I won't win any more Grand Slams than Djokovic, but I will give myself the chance to have fun again."
