Big Four reunited: Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray join Venus, BJK, Borg, Edberg and more on Wimbledon Centre Court

Wimbledon marked the centenary of Centre Court with a parade of former champions – with all of the Big Four taking part. Andy Murray is out of the 2022 tournament, while Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are still in the draw – but Roger Federer was a surprise arrival on Sunday morning, having missed out this year due to his lengthy recovery from knee surgery. John McEnroe was master of ceremonies, alongside Sue Barker (who is a former Roland-Garros winner but never triumphed in SW19). And they were joined by Goran Ivanisevic, Martina Hingis, Pat Cash, Venus Williams, Bjorn Borg, Stefan Edberg, Billie Jean King, John Newcombe, Jan Kodes, Lleyton Hewitt, Ann Jones, Margaret Court, Conchita Martinez, Chrissie Evert, Rod Laver, Stan Smith, Angela Mortimer, Angelique Kerber, Petra Kvitova, Marion Bartoli, and Simona Halep. Australia-based Evonne Goolagong and Ash Barty were not part of the ceremony. Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi were also not there, and nor were Serena Williams, Pete Sampras, Amelie Mauresmo, Virginia Wade, Richard Krajicek, or Garbine Muguruza. Nor was Maria Sharapova, but that is perhaps more understandable as she is heavily pregnant.
